We also have a beautiful parkland campus, in the heart of south-west London. The Graduate Gallery is a gallery for graduate students and research faculty. We are one of the only regionally accredited institutions in the U.S. that is solely dedicated to the visual, performing and communication arts.
Our graduates have gone on to become influential contributors to the creative industries, both nationally and internationally. They work everywhere from the BBC, to Architectural firms, advertising agencies, on blockbuster films and in theatre. We are the University of Lincoln College of Arts – a creative community of thinkers, designers, writers, makers, researchers and entrepreneurs. The newly opened facilities are dedicated to exploring all facets of music production including composition, sound design, digital and analog recording, mixing and mastering.
The AUArts Grad Show celebrates the talent, determination and creativity of our graduating students. We are a university dedicated to art, craft and design – the only one in Alberta and in the Prairies, and one of four in Canada. The foundation of Wimbledon College of Arts goes back to 1890, when an art class for the Rutlish School for Boys was started. Between 1904 and 1920 this was housed in the Wimbledon Technical Institute in Gladstone Road. In 1993 the school, which previously had been controlled by the London Borough of Merton, was incorporated as an independent higher education institution.
“Each one of us has a responsibility to promote healthy relationships, and the It’s On Us PA grant program was created to provide pathways to trainings and resources that improve campus culture and engagement.” University of the Arts is one of 34 Pennsylvania institutions of higher education to receive an It’s On Us PA grant, Gov. Tom Wolf announced last week. Replicating the federal It’s On Us campaign, Governor Wolf introduced the grant program in 2016 focused on combatting sexual violence on campuses by supporting initiatives and strategies that bolster awareness, prevention, reporting and response systems. Through funding provided by the President’s Fund for Excellence, the Grants for Creative Research & Innovation program is able to disburse $53,000 to realize the 11 projects that comprise staff and faculty members’ imaginative, innovative ideas and advance the creativity of the UArts community. Upgrade Your Future Path is a hybrid programme of events aimed at final year undergraduate students and 2021 UG graduates of London College of Communication who are interested in finding out more about career paths in the creative industries.
The London Institute originally chose not to apply because its individual colleges were internationally recognised in their own right. In 2003, the London Institute received Privy Council approval for university status; it was renamed University of the Arts London in 2004. UCA Farnham is our biggest campus and home to an impressive range of creative undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees. Sack notes that the content and site-specific nature of Shadow Fliers will be personally beneficial, too, as it will challenge and expand her practice to engage a broader pedological vision that addresses a larger public, and in turn will allow Sack to bring new insights and methodologies into the classroom. In addition to the final installed work, Sack will present a lecture and discussion about the work and corresponding research. The Creative Research & Innovation grant will allow Reich to undertake the thorough playtesting of Oedipus in Seattle needed to realize it publicly. The audience can hear some, but not all, of the instructions, sometimes being forced to guess what sort of directions the actors are responding to. The actors will perform tasks; ask each other questions; and occasionally act out the roles of Oedipus, Jocasta, Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan from the respective source material.

Uniarts Helsinki is an international forerunner in education and research in the field of arts and strengthens the role of art as a force that reforms society. Established in 2013, Uniarts Helsinki consists of the Academy of Fine Arts, Sibelius Academy and Theatre Academy. The University of the Arts Helsinki provides the highest level of education in music, fine arts, theatre and dance. We were established in 2013, when the Academy of Fine Arts, Sibelius Academy and Theatre Academy were merged.
In August 2000 it merged with Cordwainers College, founded as the Leather Trade School by the Leathersellers and Cordwainers Company in 1887 in Bethnal Green, and later renamed the Cordwainers Technical College and, in 1991, Cordwainers College. The inaugural round of grants will allow UArts staff and faculty members to pursue research in dance and motion, explore the history of wood engraving, prototype augmented reality devices, develop theatrical and dance performances and curricula, give voice to Syrian refugees through podcasting, and more. University of the Arts has announced the recipients of the inaugural round of the Grants for Creative Research & Innovation program, providing funding to 11 innovative projects led by UArts faculty and staff.
